New distribution agreement in the field of "Printed Electronics"

Cooperation announcement between Kissel + Wolf GmbH and Henkel AG & Co. KGaA

As a medium-sized family company based in Wiesloch near Heidelberg, Kissel + Wolf GmbH supplies chemical products for screen and textile printing, industrial, flock and special adhesives, cleaning agents as well as resists and coatings worldwide. Since late 2021, the company had also been responsible for sales and service for Henkel's Loctite products in Germany. For the Austrian and Swiss markets, the two partner companies are PUTZ Drucktechnik Ges.mbH. based in Vienna (Austria) and Serilith, based in Ballwil (Switzerland).

Technical support and service are top priorities at Kissel + Wolf. A good product alone is often not enough. That is why this global family business provides its customers with support for optimising their processes and products.

Thanks to decades of experience in the field of screen printing, especially with its Fineline programme for stencil production, which meets the highest specifications in the electronics industry - with up to 20 µm resolution - Kissel + Wolf delivers know-how at the highest level. KIWO’s technical sales and application technology form an important interface in the cooperation between customer and company.

Paired with screen printing know-how from Kissel + Wolf, Henkel’s conductive products form a perfect symbiosis.

But what is actually behind printed electronics and what makes this technology so interesting for both Kissel + Wolf and Henkel?
Printed electronics open up unimagined technical and design possibilities for many industries. With the increasing spread of the Internet of Things (IoT), demand for innovative, flexible electronic applications is increasing. This also applies to sectors in which electronics have not up to now been commonplace: for example, in the health sector, in the automotive industry, wearables, consumer electronics, household appliances and packaging, to name but a few. Increasingly finer structures and layouts with the smallest possible space requirement are also required (e.g. microgrids, invisible circuit board structures, etc.), the screen-printing process allows finenesses of up to 20 µm, using suitable ultra-fine steel fabrics and corresponding Fineline emulsions (e.g. AZOCOL Z 173/1 FL).

Kissel + Wolf is ready to help you select a Loctite product, tailored to your requirements.
